Certification Process

New Operator Certification / Upgrade Operator Certification

You may apply for more than one area or level of certification on the application.  The following is to be included with the application:

• Certification exam marks
• High school transcript or GED certificate
• Signed application form 
• Application form to include dates of employment (month and year) and duties signed off by Supervisor
• $175.00 application fee, payable by cheque or credit card only, for new applications only.  
• There is no fee to upgrade certification.

Out of Province Reciprocity Certification

“Under the Agreement on Internal Trade; all certificates will be issued, at a comparable level, to any person operating within a Saskatchewan facility who holds a valid Operator certification from any province or equivalent authority.”

To apply for reciprocity please complete and submit the Reciprocity Application. Include a copy of your current certification from other jurisdictions.
